Almost everyone who has pediatric insurance can arrange to see Dr. Keene.
Dr. Keene believes all families should be able to find the best quality medical care, and he has been proud throughout his years in practice to subscribe to as many insurance plans and options as possible. With the many changes brought about by the Affordable Care Act, the list of options for families has grown, and so Dr. Keene's list has grown as well.
There are so many different kinds of insurance -- Blue Cross alone, for example, has more than 25 different plans -- that it's a headache and it's confusing, but it's the system that we have, and we will try to help you cope with it. The two basic types are PPO and HMO. They are listed separately below.
If your children are HMO patients, Dr. Keene must be listed as their primary care physician before he can see them. Our office staff is very happy to assist you in making a transfer if need be. It only takes a few minutes.
PPO-TYPE PLANS
Dr. Keene is an in-network provider for almost every
PPO, EPO, Insurance Exchange and other fee-for-service
insurance plan, including almost all Aetna, Blue Cross,
Blue Shield, Cigna, Health Net and Pacificare plans, and Platinum,
Gold, Silver and Bronze plans of California's insurance exchange.
The best way for you to make sure is to check your insurance
company's provider list.

is on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
